Below are some examples of why book a rental, self drive trip, or guided tour with Ride Free Tours and Rentals.

First, if you book rentals with me it will not cost one penny more to you than booking directly with the giant rental companies.Â
There are some vast differences though when you book with Ride Free. Basically you have a better chance of getting the bike you booked, and have far superior support on your trip that can save you days getting your flat tire or bike fixed. And, I am here to help out or give some tips every step along the way. The huge companies have about 5,000 bikes they are supporting, and at times 10 guided tours and hundreds of self drives going on at one time. We only handle a handful of the above. You won’t get lost in the cracks. Call myself the owner of Ride Free anytime. I will help you.
Â
Some recent examples.
1- At one location, the huge rental company didn’t have the bikes they promised people. Some people that booked with the huge company directly got lowriders, a very small bar hopping bike, instead of Electra Glides with luggage cases and a big passenger seat…. huge difference.  Or with cars, would get a Toyota Camry “upgrade” instead of a Mustang Convertible. My customers on that same day that booked Street Glides, would have gotten lowriders… but I called my people and with all the thousands of rentals I do there, my guys got a Road Glide = basically same as Street Glide, and an upgrade to an Electra Glide for the person with a passenger. They are happy and on the road as we speak. Not like the very unhappy people who booked direct to the huge company on lowriders as we speak that same day.
Â
2– Our customer booked a motorcycle through Ride Free with a major rental company. The customer got a flat tire on a Saturday late afternoon in Zion, Utah. Most motorcycle shops are closed Sunday and Monday. So when they talked to the major rental company it was reasonable that the only solution was to have the motorcycle towed to their location in Las Vegas, the next day. Two problems with this. First the renters would lose a day of their trip to get the bike towed to Vegas, the second was they chose to buy roadside towing and the tow was $2200 quoted tow the bike that far of a distance. Which is crazy high. Luckily they booked through RIDE FREE. I contacted the owner of a tiny local shop in their area Saturday night ( not the listed shop number ) and convinced him to open up his closed shop on Sunday and fix their tire. Sunday am he picked their bike up with his trailer, and by mid morning they were on their way. I saved them a lost day of riding and about a $2200 tow. They could have lost another day and waited until Monday and gotten the tow for probably $1200, but that would have been 2 days lost. By using Ride Free they were on the road the next morning, with just a few hours lost. No one will help you when you need it like RIDE FREE.Â
Â
3- Saving renter days of breakdown time: A rider’s bike fell over in the hotel parking lot breaking the clutch lever making it inoperable at around 5pm in the mountains, about 3 hours from the closest Harley shop. Rider called the well known rental company we were working with ( I always say call us both asap if there is an issue, me on my cell and their roadside number ). The rental company told them they could get the bike towed the next day about 3 hours to the closest Harley dealer, then they could get a part overnighted after they get the bike then fix the bike. So the group would lose 2 to 3 day of their trip and be 3 hours of course. Rider called me. I found / have a guy who has a little shop in the same little remote mountain town that has a tiny dirt floor snowmobile shop, but he owns a Harley and is competent in Harley repair. He agreed to fix the bike if I could find a clutch lever. I talked to all the Harley dealers within 4 hours from the location and no one had the part. They did say the well known rental company did call them also. But with the RIDE FREE spirit and 30 years running a classic car shop www.sakowskimotors.com, and with RIDE FREE having run USA tours longer than any other company in the USA; we give it our all and make things happen if possible. I convinced the guy at the Harley Dealer ( a different one than the rental company was going to tow the bike to, but farther away ) to go back into the shop and dig around all the old take off brake and clutch levers from when they do upgrades to the stock bikes. I told him the mechanics would have 5 gallon buckets with these take off parts in them ( 30 years of doing this… ) . And gave him the part number and description of what was needed. He went into the shop and said there are buckets of take off parts and while on the whole with me dug through them but did not find what we needed. I asked him if he was just looking for a polished lever, because we can do black as we don’t care about the color, just not losing half the customer’s trip since they traveled from around the world for this once in a lifetime bucket list trip. I convinced him to dig more… and we found a black one! Now how to get the part about 3 hours away? I asked if he could deliver it, he said no. I asked if he knew anyone we could pay to deliver it, let me know how much $ it would take to get someone to deliver it 3 hours away. He said his brother dates a girl that lives in that area and his brother would leave at 4am that night and deliver the part first thing in the morning for $300. My customer / rider said they would be happy to pay $300 for the delivery so their trip would not be messed up.  The part arrived around 7 am the next morning to the snowmobile shop where it was installed and the customer / rider was on the road around 8am.  No delay in the trip versus probably a 3 day delay. I could write a book with similar stories. I can’t promise miracles, but we promise to try to make miracles like this and we do it all the time.Â
Â
3- We had a customer with a flat tire, the huge company was going to send them a tow from 4 hours away, then tow them back 4 hours, then fit the tire the next day.. All in a direction they were not going….. = lose 2 days..  I called a little teeny tiny shop I knew in the area where the owner keeps some spare Harley tires for travelers. They were towed and back on the road in about an hour from calling me…. 1 hour Ride Free versus 2 days if they had booked with the huge rental company directly. I could tell stories all day like this. Read my Tripadvisor reviews, or call me.Â
Â
4- Booking with Ride Free, you also would support small businesses, not just international corporate conglomerates.  When there is availability, I also use my own small fleet or other small local rental companies.Â

Â
Hotels: Yes, you can book your own hotels. But they won’t be vetted for bike parking, local flavor, what local restaurants and pubs are strategically located nearby so you can experience and hang with the locals? It has taken us years to get these dialed in for the best experience.  No chain hotels, unless we absolutely have to.  We have neat local spots that are part of the experience. To stay in chain hotels booked online on the edge of town would be missing so much of the experience.Â
Â
Route: I have figured out how much can be done on a bike in a day. On some trips, it would take 2 months to see it all. I have narrowed it down so you just get the best in the time you have to tour. And we can customize it for your likes. You would have to spend a thousand hours of research and do the trip 5 times, to get the same experience. You have to ask yourselves, how many times will I do this trip? Is it worth the extra money to get the most out of it?
Â
Support on your trip: Call me daily or not, whatsapp, text me, I am your support center. However I can help we will. . Flat tire in the middle of nowhere? Want some extra tips along the way for your personal likes?Â

Guided Tour:Â Â https://ridefree.com/ guided_motorcycle_toursÂ
Guided Car Tour Info:Â https://ridefree.com/ car-tours-usaÂ
I won’t get into the huge difference of our guided tours here, versus the huge tours of the giant international corporate conglomerate companies, or the foreign companies who will do a German, Australian, UK, etc type of tour in the USA? That makes no sense. Come ride with real locals and experience a real American motorcycle ride that can only be done proper by Americans. Step out of your comfort zone, and experience what it is like to do a true American motorcycle trip. All you have to do is show up, and have fun without a worry in the world on a guided tour.Â
