Classic Car Rental Rate Responsibility OPTIONS

All insurance, coverage and options are subject to the express terms and conditions of the rental contract and do not include coverage for injury, personal property, or damage as the result of negligence such as illegal use or use of rental while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Clients are required to contact the Rental Company pick-up station and file a Police Report within 48 hours of any damage or accident. Any damages to rented vehicle without a police report is considered Renter’s fault.

The Rental Rate is $50 more per day per car if you do not provide your own verified insurance.

Coverage’s include:

  • $15,000/$30,000/$5,000 Liability Coverage
  • Liability means – bodily injury and or property damage a renter may cause to others.
  • also $300,000 excess liability coverage
  • $2,500 responsibility – Comprehensive Coverage
  • Comprehensive means – sudden direct or accidental damage to the car.
  • $2,500 responsibility – Collision Coverage on a Secondary Basis
  • Collision means – the renter is at fault when hitting a person or object that causes damage to the car. 
  • Secondary means – the insurance company has the right to pursue the renter for any collision damages paid to the rental operator for damages to the car.

INSURANCE
Ride Free recommends that you take out adequate travel, health and accident insurance as well as Trip Cancellation Insurance. Ride Free currently offers the following rental rate options.

A Police Report is required for all damages or accidents. All damages to rented vehicle without a police report will be considered to be at the fault of the Renter.

RENTER RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TOWING AND TOWING COSTS IN CASE OF BREAKDOWN, FLAT TIRE, OR CRASHED/INOPERABLE VEHICLE.

RENTER RESPONSIBLE FOR FLAT TIRE COST,  TIRE DAMAGE, AND REPLACEMENT COST.  INCLUDING ALL TOWING AND COST ACCRUED FROM FLAT OR DAMAGED TIRES.

The parties executing this rental rate option acknowledge, represent, warrant and agree that they have had sufficient opportunity to review the brochure and policies. Except as noted above, all rental options, insurance, coverage, waivers and/or vacation interruption protection are subject to the express terms and conditions of the Agreement and, without limitation to the foregoing, do not include coverage for injury, personal property, or damage as the result of any violation of the terms of the Agreement and/or the commission of any Prohibited Acts (as defined in the Agreement). A police report is required for all damages or accidents. All damages to rented vehicle without a police report is considered Renter’s fault.If accepted and paid for by the parties listed below, with the additional rental option, coverage will be excess over any applicable insurance available to such parties or any other operator, from any other source; whether primary, excess, secondary or contingent in any way. Said additional coverage will be provided under a separate policy of excess liability insurance generally described in the brochure provided to Renter prior to his execution of this rental rate option and is subject to all of the conditions and limitations described in the Agreement entered into concurrently herewith by the Rental Company and Renter (the “Agreement”); provided, however, that notwithstanding anything contained in the Agreement to the contrary, in the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the terms of such options for additional liability insurance coverage and the brochure and/or the Agreement, the terms of such policies shall be deemed controlling and shall supersede the terms of the brochure and/or the Agreement, which brochure and Agreement shall be deemed amended so as to be consistent with the terms of such policies.
